Shipping Center Provides Training & Employment For Those With DisabilitiesBy Staff

Lark Enterprises has opened an authorized UPS shipping service on Ellwood Road.

The Lark Shipping Center is the newest venture for Lark, which provides job training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Trainees, working under Lark's supervised staff, are learning skills in the areas of customer service, data entry and packaging.
"We are very excited about offering this new service," Lark chief executive officer Alice Sankey said. "We have so many capable and enthusiastic workers who enjoy working directly with customers.
"It's a wonderful opportunity for them and it fulfills a need in the community as well."
