Seagate Driving Employment In LongmontThe Associated Press

LONGMONT, CO - Computer hard-drive maker Seagate Technology says it plans to add more than 100 jobs at its Longmont design center by the end of the year.
That'll bring total employment there to about 1,700 workers.
It will also be the largest single increase in Seagate's work force there since the company acquired its rival, Maxtor Corporation, and merged their Longmont operations.
That acquisition was completed in May 2006.
Seagate added 82,000 square feet to its Longmont campus this past summer.
The company is the world's largest maker of hard-disk drives.
